Faith Like a Mustard Seed

“He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

-Matthew 13:31-32

Faith like a mustard seed… one of the smallest seeds, and that’s all the faith you need to move mountains! How incredible is that?! I went through several different names before I settled on Mustard Seed Mommy. I wanted something that really described my life, my family, my faith… what better than the mustard seed from one of Jesus’s parables? My hope is that through my blog, my etsy shop, my facebook page, and all other social media I’m using for this blog… AND through my day to day life that I can take this mustard seed of mine and help it to grow, to spread. I want to plant the love of Jesus Christ into the hearts of many! I want to raise my children to know what it means to have faith like a mustard seed… I want them to know the love of Christ and what He did so that they could live an eternal life in heaven.
