Simply Saturday

I don’t know if I should really title this “Simply Saturday”, however I want Saturdays to just simply be Saturdays. No more running around finishing errands that didn’t get done the rest of the week, no more trying to finish piles of laundry that has multiplied, no more wasting away the weekends doing chores. I’m done! My house is a disaster, I have piles, literally PILES of laundry that needs to be accomplished. My bedroom is a hazard zone, there is just stuff everywhere! Clothes hampers, laundry baskets, tot school stuff that needs to be cut and sorted, blankets, books, you name it! I’m a super duper organized person, but it is HARD to get everything done with kids running around!

So, tomorrow J and I are going to our usual clean sweep of the entire house, along with trying to tackle that mountain of laundry and cleaning out the fridge. I’m hoping to stick to my schedule this week, especially since we are officially starting Tot School on Monday, and get a handle on my chore schedule…. then maybe it won’t be so hard to keep this house clean!

My sweet girl is spending the night at her Nana’s tonight. I both love and loathe these nights! I love having special time with just my boys, but I don’t like that my baby girl isn’t sleeping in her own bed just across the house. I like being able to go in there after she’s fallen asleep and snuggle with her! She has probably had a blast though and gets to go with Nana and Big Nanny to church tomorrow.

Bubby is currently asleep on J’s chest, that seems to be his way of falling asleep now… he nurses to sleep around 8 and then wakes up an hour later and stays up for a few hours and then crashes on his daddy. At least it gives me some alone time, ha! Poor kid had his 8th tooth pop through this week, and he’s having a hard time going #2 with all these foods he’s been devouring. Hopefully he’ll get things moving SOON.
