I tried out this product first hand, and since it was my first time I was a little hesitant! We buy brand name clothes for our kids, secondhand, but good quality taken care of brand name clothing. I didn’t want to ruin anything! So I sorted our laundry and put together a load of the kids play clothes and some of mine and J’s older shirts and jeans, as well as a pair of Bubby’s jeans that bleed on EVERYTHING. I’ve washed them SO many times, and they still bleed! It drives me crazy!
The scent of the detergent is like any other of the original Purex detergents, personally, we love the scent. It leaves your clothes smelling so fresh and clean. My only discord with their products is that it does leave a residue in your washer and dryer, which can be a complete pain when you cloth diaper. Lucky for me I have about 10 loads of laundry to catch up on, so by the time I use my regular detergent those 10 times…. no more residue, ha!
I was pleasantly surprised that not a single piece of clothing had the annoying blue streaks on them from Bubby’s pants!!! Woo hoo!

I have flubbed more times than I want to count. I have never been able to save any of my flubs. My family has had to deal with pink clothes (not so bad for the girls but the boys weren’t impressed) and some staining, a little bleeding. You name it I’ve probably done it to my families clothes. They must not mind that much because they still let me do all the laundry.

I’ve definitely flubbed up on the laundry before. I’ve had whites fade out and turn an ugly grayish color because I forgot to sort or thought, “I’m sure it should be fine”.

No laundry today so no flubs, but when I have flubbed before, I tried using bleach to get my whites looking new again. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite work.

On one of my flubs I ruined my daughters new white shirt. It somehow made it in with her jeans. Needless to say her shirt was not white anymore. I bought a nee shirt. She never knew.

I had a kleenex in my pants pocket today when I did my laundry. That is never a pretty site. Got it fixed, no laundry for a few days for me.

I remember flubbing the laundry the day before a big party we were having at my house. It was my husbands nice dress shirt and got mixed in with a couple of dark shirts. Needless to say, we had to make a quick trip to the store that night.

I washed a new pair of jeans before with my white towels I which ended up with blue on them but there was no saving the jeans because of the bleach.

This is a flub that still happens to me all the time. Somehow (and I don’t know how because I know I check my clothes) a towel or something with fuzz will get in with my work shirts and I end up with thuckys (thuckys are little lint balls on your shirt) all over my shirts.
