The Old Fashioned Way (Reclaiming the Lost Art of Romance) was inspired by the new movie Old Fashioned that will be in theaters on Valentine’s Day 2015! Many times we hear the words “old fashioned” and we think of gentlemen opening doors, modesty, no sex before marriage… and while all of those things are wonderful, having an “old fashioned” relationship is soooo much more than that!

When my children get to the age where they want to start courting or dating the person they hope to marry, THIS is what I want them to be hoping for. A true old fashioned relationship, courting, “dating” for the purposes of marriage.     I’m not in a relationship right now.. but I love old fashioned dating. I totally agree with you that dating should always have marriage in mind. I don’t want a relationship just to make myself feel better.
