Hillsong Kids – Can You Believe It DVD Review and GIVEAWAY!
Can you tell my kids were excited to check out this DVD? (Even Baby Bear! Ha!) We are a music loving family. My husband and I participate in our church’s praise band, so we are singing and playing music ALL the time. Chris Tomlin’s “Holy Roar” Album Review
One of my favorite things to review is MUSIC, we have some pretty amazing Christian artists right now. I’ve been pretty blown away by the lyrics and music that has come out lately and I feel like the Lord is really moving in a big way! Chris Tomlin does not disappoint with his new album, Holy Roar. The concept of Holy Roar is quoted as, “the freedom, the experience, the wonder of worship. The Spirit of God Illustrated Bible Review
I think it’s pretty obvious, if you follow my blog, that I LOVE books. I’m always looking for new books to add to not only mine, but my children’s library as well. This illustrated bible was the perfect addition to our collection, the illustrations are beautiful and my kids love how the stories are told. The Spirit of God Illustrated Bible brings over 40 of our favorite Bible stories to life with beautiful illustrations by Fernando Juarez. I am SO excited about this movie! Alex and Stephen Kendrick have produced another amazing movie (also produced War Room and Courageous), this one in particular will only debut in specific theaters nationwide for TWO nights next month! You’ll follow the journey of Charlie and Alice into parenthood, when they start to lose those special relationships with their children because of life (i.e. work, everyday life) getting in the way, they turn to their faith when everything else has failed. I am SO excited to go see this movie! If you haven’t seen the trailer, you can view it below! This movie is about Paul, you follow his story from when Luke risks his life to visit him in a Roman prison under Nero’s rule. During this time Paul writes many letters that were absolutely vital to spreading Christianity and you can find those in the New Testament today.
