Paradise Praises – Bible Activities Review
I am so excited to share this review with you guys today! One of the things that drives me crazy is searching for extra worksheets to give Boogie for busy work when we are studying something in particular and I need to give her something to do while the littles need my attention.This book completely solves that problem for our Bible studies! I love love love this book! My only complaint is that it would be easier to make copies of in a spiral bound book or even a loose leaf binder or perhaps a book with easy pull out pages. Have you had a chance to see the movie, The Star yet? We are watching it Friday night for our family movie night! I’m so excited to share this sweet movie with my children. The Star is a heartwarming tale about a donkey named Bo, he goes on a grand adventure and meets many quirky animals along the way. The greatest adventure of all was when he accidentally becomes a hero in one of the most amazing stories ever told! Finding Rest
It’s amazing how a simple word can be continually placed on our hearts, a constant reminder of what God wants us to do. The sermon at our church on Sunday wasn’t necessarily about the word “rest”, but our pastor did bring up Mary of Bethany. And when I think of Mary, I think of rest. On the radio, THREE times this past week, I’ve heard sermons and speakers talk of resting within Jesus. New Beginnings
The old has gone, the new is here! How amazing is that? How wonderful is it that God can wash away all the old and spring forth new goodness and hope into our lives? We are officially NC residents again, we are getting settled into our new home and gearing up to get started into Boogie’s second semester of first grade and Bubby’s second semester of Pre-K.
