A Love Letter from God Review & Giveaway!
This book… oh, how I LOVE this book. It is the PERFECT way to show your child how much God loves and adores them, that they are a child of God. It reads like a poem from God telling your children how every big and small thing about them, how every little thing about them was created in His image. This Love Letter from God story is exactly that… a love letter from God, how He will lead them through life and that He has a plan for each and every one. I just adore it, and my children have thoroughly enjoyed reading it… over and over again! The pictures…

NKJV Adventure Bible Review
It’s probably obvious by now that we are planning to home school our children. We’ve actually kind of started that journey this past year through tot school. Since then I have been on the hunt for a bible to incorporate into our day that is age appropriate for my children. Being almost 4 and 2 they are far too young to have a real true bible of their own (though Boogie does love to page through my personal bible and is very gentle, but she isn’t good about taking CARE of her books… so they stay in mommy and daddy’s room on a shelf and she has to…

He Calmed the Storm
He is SO good. I posted before about how rough things were around here. The stresses of what we were experiencing in regards to J’s job and being stuck at home without a vehicle with both kids AND pregnant were triggering situational anxiety and panic attacks for me. But we’ve all been there, haven’t we? God calmed our storm… He stopped the downpour and He did so just a short few weeks before our sweet Baby Bird is due…

365 Pocket Prayers for Mothers Book Review
I have been looking for a prayer book to go along with my daily devotions I study in my bible. When Tyndale offered this pocket prayer book up for review I jumped on the chance to try it out. My study bible is the Real Life Devotional Bible for Women with a pink leather cover, so I was also intrigued in having my prayer book be the same type of faux leather material. My reasoning for liking that aspect is that it is sturdier and easier to care for than that of a regular paperback bible or book, and I don’t care for hardbacks when it comes to studying my…

With Love
I’ve been debating all week how I wanted to go about writing this post. I didn’t post anything here, but I mentioned on my Social Media sites about 2 weeks ago that I would be taking a short hiatus from writing. My reasoning? The day I posted that our family, my in-laws to be exact, were preparing to say goodbye to this incredible woman. My children lovingly called her Big Nanny, though in fact, there was nothing big about her… that is, unless you consider the enormity of love and grace this woman possessed. Big Nanny loved with everything she had and everything she was. It didn’t…
