Grace of God DVD Review and GIVEAWAY!

Having lost his faith many years ago, Detective Bill Broadly is called to investigate the disappearance of the local church’s collection plate. As he questions its various church members, rumors swirl as more congregants learn about the theft. When one unexpected church-goer confesses to stealing the funds, the confession resurrects Broadly’s views on God, and helps him see that through faith and belief there really is rebirth and redemption.

I love finding movies that are not only great for J and I to watch for a date night, but that are appropriate for our entire family. We love having movie nights with our kids, but it’s so hard to find movies that are family oriented and free from adult humor (it’s amazing how many of our children’s animated movies are full of hidden adult humor). While this movie isn’t entirely appropriate for our young children, there is nothing in this movie that I would worry about if one of them were to come in and see it.

While the filming and editing of this movie aren’t super sophisticated, the acting and message in this film is superb. You won’t believe the ending, we were shocked to find out who the real thief was!

This film is not rated, but Dove Foundation gave it “Faith Friendly”, and dubbed it appropriate for children ages 12 and up!
