Cook Complete 10 Piece Metal Toy Kitchenware

I was so excited to order this for our kids. Boogie loves playing with her Ikea kitchen play set and we have purchased lots of Melissa & Doug foods, dishes, pans and etc, as well as some Green Toys accessories as well. So when I was given the opportunity to review this set I jumped, I thought this would be the perfect addition to their cookware toys.

I didn’t even bother taking a picture when I pulled this set out of the box. The moment I pulled it out some of the pieces were already falling apart. First thing I noticed was that the big pot (looks like one of those big pots you use to can your foods with) had a lid with a missing handle. I found the handle in the bottom of the box… but no screw to hold it in. I then pulled out the rest of the cookware and it seemed to be okay until I noticed a pretty large ding in one of the smaller pots. The spatula and ladle were okay when I pulled them from the box… but the other two spoons were broken free from their handles. Disappointed was an understatement.

I think the company had a great idea with this set, I do think it’s pretty adorable… but the quality is lacking. If you’d like to check this out you can find the set on Amazon.
