    With Love

I’ve been debating all week how I wanted to go about writing this post. I didn’t post anything here, but I mentioned on my Social Media sites about 2 weeks ago that I would be taking a short hiatus from writing. My reasoning? The day I posted that our family, my in-laws to be exact, were preparing to say goodbye to this incredible woman. My children lovingly called her Big Nanny, though in fact, there was nothing big about her… that is, unless you consider the enormity of love and grace this woman possessed.     Big Nanny loved with everything she had and everything she was. It didn’t…

10 Rules for Dads With Daughters

I’ve been trying to think of some good posts for the month of September, racking my brain and taking notes… we’ve had so much going on, in every kind of way that nothing seemed right. Then I was reminded (not because I had forgotten, but because it just wasn’t at my top list of priorities) that on the 15th J and I would be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. As My Tears Fall…

One of the things that draws me to some of the blogs that I read is the honesty I see from other mommy bloggers like me. There are thousands upon thousands of mommy blogs out there, and many of them you never get to see or read about their real mommy moments… and shouldn’t that be what we write about the most? I’m going to try and be honest today, as honest as I can be… I NEED to let it out and I NEED prayers, but this isn’t just about bad mommy moments. Our family is struggling, J is never home, not because he doesn’t want to be but…

10 Things I Want My Husband to Know

I think we’ve all seen the numerous blogs where us mommy bloggers write posts to their daughters or sons about what we want them to know. That got me thinking… why not a post for my husband? There are so many things I was my husband to know and to remember, but there are 10 things that I think are most important. 1. First and foremost, I love you. Forever and ever babe! 2. I am proud of you. Proud of the man you have become, the man you strive to be and the man you used to be. I’m proud to stand beside you, to hold your hand and to…

    Love These Babies!

It’s been a while since I really posted about life and the kids… and myself in general. Sure, there have been posts here and there updating on the kids and such, but I’ve neglected what I wanted this blog to really be about. I do love sharing reviews and giveaways, but that’s not what I want my sole focus to be.   Our family is growing very quickly before my eyes! That also means new challenges and phases to learn and work through. I realize that as our children get older each age will show different and harder challenges, but so far, with our experience…. age 3 is ROUGH. Boogie…
