30 Things – Favorite Quality in My Spouse
Tonight I’m going to tackle question #28 – What’s your favorite quality in your spouse? (Again, you can find the original 30 Things My Kids Should Know About Me post HERE!) I’m getting around to posting this a day late, so I’ll continue posting tomorrow instead of doing two today! Anyways, my favorite quality in J? There are two qualities that really stand out to me and make me love him more everyday… actually there are several, because really… I have an AMAZING husband. The first of those two (because I just can’t pick one) is his determination to provide for his family. He goes above and beyond so that I…

30 Things – How I Knew My Spouse Was the One
Tonight I’m going to tackle question #15 – Describe when you knew your spouse was the one or how you fell in love. (Again, you can find the original 30 Things My Kids Should Know About Me post HERE!) The best way to answer this question is to read a post I wrote in 2010 HERE… sweet Joseph was the reason I knew J was the one!

Expectations…. Lowered.
This is going to be a really hard post for me to right, but I feel like it’s something that more moms need to hear. So many times we browse Pinterest and Facebook… and we see what other moms out there are doing and we judge OURSELVES for it. WHY do we do this? But how do you know when you are truly done? At this point in my life, I can’t ever imagine not having sweet little baby cheeks to smooch on, or a baby to nurse, or a squishy newborn to wrap in a snugly wrap. So, how do you know? J is bound and determined that we will not have…

Happy Anniversary My Love!
Tomorrow is our 6 year wedding anniversary! We’ve changed and grown so much as individuals and as a couple in these SHORT 6 years! The top left picture is from a week or so into our relationship in 2006 (probably around March?), the bottom left is from our wedding reception (I had changed at this point obviously!) in 2007, and the right picture I’ve shared before… it’s from our family photos this past August. I was immensely blessed when God brought this boy into my life, he has grown into an incredible, hard working man who would do ANYTHING for his family. I love you, babe! Happy Anniversary!
