    We Are….

HOMEOWNERS!!!!!!!!! I never thought I would get to type those words. J and I are HOMEOWNERS. We bought a HOUSE! It’s OURS. We can paint it however we want, we can maintain it however we want, we can make it our own and nobody can say a thing about it! I cannot thank you enough for the prayers that have been prayed over us these past several years. When I started this blog in 2008, we had been married less than a year, our future was unsteady and nerve-wracking. We bounced home to home trying to find where we belong… we had two children along the way, we each attended…

I’ve had this on my heart for a while, so I thought I’d just go for it. I know we all need prayers about different things, at different times in our lives. I’d like to give all of my readers the opportunity to come together to pray for each other. So this is what I’m going to do. If you feel…

    Meet Faith

Yes, it’s true…. we have jumped onto the Elf on the Shelf bandwagon. BUT, we are doing much differently than most, and I can thank A Small Snippet for her post on how they do things with their elf, Eli. J and I wanted to try this whole elf things out, but we were just not okay with the whole naughty and nice list. Using Santa’s list as a tool to discipline your children… no thanks, I’ll stick to time outs and lost privileges, but I’m not going to tell my children that if they do something naughty that Santa won’t leave them surprises under our tree. I don’t see how…

    So, How Do You Know?

Since J and got married I was dead set on having 4 or more children. I’ve always wanted that big family, lots of little feet scampering around the house, lots of hugs and kisses to be had, large family gatherings as they got older and started having children of their own. But how do you know when you are truly done? At this point in my life, I can’t ever imagine not having sweet little baby cheeks to smooch on, or a baby to nurse, or a squishy newborn to wrap in a snugly wrap. So, how do you know? J is bound and determined that we will not have…
